About the Host: Holly Wayment
Holly Wayment is the host and executive producer of Pediatrics Now and Pediatrics Now for Parents, podcasts produced by the Department of Pediatrics at in partnership with .
With more than 65,000 downloads, Pediatrics Now features leading pediatric experts and explores timely, clinically relevant topics for both healthcare providers and families.
Holly brings more than a decade of experience as a television journalist, including roles at and work with ABC News, along with reporting across multiple Texas markets. She has covered major health, medical, and community stories throughout her career.
She has also written opinion pieces and health-related content for the San Antonio Express-News and The Dallas Morning News.
Today, she serves as a Physician Relations Specialist, Sr. at 91PORN, working closely with pediatric specialists and referring providers across the region.
She holds a master’s degree from and a bachelor’s degree from University of Texas at Austin. During her graduate training, she interned with the Journal of the American Medical Association and was selected for a competitive program that included work with the National Institutes of Health.
Through Pediatrics Now, Holly has interviewed nationally recognized experts on topics ranging from concussion care and pediatric surgery to space medicine and emerging research that is shaping the future of child health.
