Wellness Matters

is a non-profit organization established for the purpose of promoting the eight dimensions of wellness among members of the Long School of Medicine community. In 2019, the group developed the LSOM wellness pledge. This student group also serves as an advisory board for wellbeing for the Office of Undergraduate Medical Education.

mission is to share music with members of the San Antonio community. We are a medical student led ensemble aimed at creating moments of joy, peace and healing for patients through music. We organize concerts with various community partners in the community, such as Hearts Need Art.

LSOM Hiking Club

The purpose of the is to facilitate group hikes for students in parks and natural areas all over San Antonio. We aim to offer students the opportunity to experience San Antonio's natural beauty, meet more of their future colleagues, make new friends, and improve their mental and physical health through hiking, a physical activity that brings people of all levels of skill and experience together in the great outdoors.

is a campus wide organization dedicated to promoting lifting as a means of improving physical fitness, strength, and overall health at UTHSCSA and in local communities.

is a non-profit organization established for the purpose of promoting swimming and physical health in the UTHSCSA and local communities.

is a club dedicated to promoting Swing era (1920’s) music and dancing to the students, faculty, and staff of UTHSCSA. Partnering closely with the San Antonio Swing Dance Society, we bring the classes, music, and history of Lindy Hop, Charleston, Shag, Balboa, and East-Coast to the UTHSA community.
